well, the senate commity up here is looking at de-criminilizing marijuana..im not sure how its doing...but that means you would get a ticket for possetion of marijuana as opposed to a criminal record a good portion of my student loan and osap went to my dealer.
it's fine to be either pro punk or pro emo. there isn't really a right or wrong about it so much. it's just music. it's soothing to the soul all the same. no need to get hostile about it. remember emo or screamo came from punk influences with bands like saetia who in the 90's decided to combine punk and it's emotions into something a lil different. No genre of music is really better than any other, rap has be on a downward spiral but that doesn't even mean it's bad music. There are bands that have bad influences and go to far with saying things such as most rap bands, Asking Alexandria, etc. but all that matters is that you relax and stop trying to label everything. By those who hate on the emo/screamo music, who consider themselves punk, you're just speaking to a brick wall b/c most people now-a-days don't care what the label truly is. So what if people get some things wrong it's not a big deal, does it ruin your life? i mean come on. plus for the guy that started this thread you're only 15 and you have a lot of life to go through. i'm very different than i was when i was 15. i never would have known i'd like screamo so much and that i'd have bad experience with girls that changed me to sympathize with the message and others pain. who knows how you'll feel about music and what kind of person you'll be in 2 years or 3 or 4. In high school things change and even more so when you get out of high school. Just think before you speak b/c you kinda made yourself look like an immature ass. btw don't hate on me b/c i have views, there's enough hate in the world without wasting emotions on things that really don't matter. respect is something this world needs some more of. try it :)

Why Green Day isn't a punk band then? :)) Pop punk, yes, but still... Like it or not, punk is not all about ugly looks and dirty sound and crossing the road when the lights are red or whatever you RIOTS do to showcase your rebellious nature...
