The NMD may have earned its stripes with hyped launches like the Adidas NMD R1 Pink
and OG reissue, but the quieter drops – the ample GRs and retailer exclusives – have kept the fire stoked in between marquee releases. As part of the latter, this Pink and Grey pack includes two tonal opposite NMD_R1s. One is covered in grey with pink accents and the other covered in pink with grey accents. Both colourways were compelling enough to sell out of Offspring and Office’s stores, where they were released exclusively, but if you’re patient you’ll likely be able to find them on the ‘Bay for a good price.
The Adidas NMD Pink Womens
has taken on a number of guises recently. We’ve seen Primeknit patterns, tonal treatments and duck camo – now we get a look at the lightweight athleisure model in a ‘Pink Salmon’ glitch colourway. The snug upper features a light salmon hue dusted with a sprinkling of black threads in a contrasting static-like pattern. The combo is anchored by black shanks and heel panels sitting cleanly atop a crisp white Boost sole. The salmon drop offers an option for adventurous adidas fans looking to swim up-stream with a less conventional colourway.
It’s official: much to the horror of some overly-eager campers, there’s no Yeezy release this March. Instead, adidas are throwing the Adidas NMD Runner
in the spotlight to kick off the change in seasons. Eight new colourways are dropping of the nomadic runner for March and they’re coming at us in one massive drop! There’s three fresh make-ups dropping for the men (gallery above) and five for the ladies (gallery below) – though we expect a whole lot of gender swapping to go down on release. Our pick of the litter is the blazing red and black joints – flames!
With all your Yeezys and your NMDs it’s easy to overlook the distinguished Adidas Stan Smith Women
– which is a shame. Released exclusively for the ladies, this ‘Vapour Green’ colourway of the best-selling sneaker keeps it clean – in true Stan style. The titular colour is applied sparingly to a nappy ‘Clear Brown’ suede upper, accenting the heel and tongue tag in the pastel hue. An off-white cupsole grounds this pristine women’s release.
The folks at adidas have given another Adidas Stan Smith Black
the Gore-Tex overhaul, this time dipping the exterior in a ‘Core Black’ colourway. The supple tumbled leather shell hides a magical Gore-Tex liner, which prevents water from getting in while still letting the foot breathe fresh air. The little tab on the heel lets the world know there’s more to this shoe than meets the eye.The adidas Stan Smith Gore-Tex ‘Core Black’ will be available from select stockists on .
